THE LOWER BUFFALO RIVER GREAT CIRCLE ROUTE

Highlights

• 102 mile Hike and Paddle starting at Dillard's Ferry
• This is a year round hike and paddle
• You will float the Lower Buffalo River and a segment of the White River
• You will hike the OHT Sylamore section and the OHT East section
• You can visit the Rush settlement
• You can visit the Indian Rock house at Buffalo Point Recreation Area
• You can do some trout fishing on the White River
• This is a 14 day Hike and Paddle

The Trails

1. Starting at Dillard's Ferry
2. float 43 miles of the Lower Buffalo River and a 12 mile segment of the White River
3. Hike all 29 miles of the OHT Sylamore section.
4. Bushwhack or road walk all 18 miles of the OHT East section.
5. You could also start at the Norfork River rd landing of the OHT Sylamore section and take the route in reverse.

Coordinate with outfitter at Wild Bill's or Buffalo River Float Service. You may have to change outfitters at Buffalo Shoals.

Resupply at Buffalo City, AR and at Norfork, AR. You may need to cache a resupply along the OHT Sylamore Section south.
